Playin' Dead brings together amazing talent to pay tribute to Grateful Dead music. Rife with passion and spirit, the band brings the Dead's music to life with dedication and style.
Matt Deveney, Playin’ Dead’s former keyboard player, passed away in June 2007. Matt was a kind soul who was known for playing with his eyes half-closed and a big grin on his face. While Matty is missed by all, we are taking this night to celebrate his life, enjoy the music he loved, and donate to a worthy cause.
Since its founding in 1947, Dana-Farber has been committed to providing adults and children with cancer the best treatment available today while developing tomorrow's cures through cutting-edge research.
100% of the proceeds from ticket sales to this event will be donated directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
And...well, well, well, you can never tell. You might go home with a few prizes as well. Make sure to enter our “I Need A Miracle” raffle and “Shakedown Street” silent auction when you arrive.
