At its core, as well as at first glance, WARRANT is an American rock band through and through. Formed in 1984, the Hollywood, CA based band rose through the ranks of the local and regional club scene to the level of multiplatinum selling, chart topping ( both on radio and MTV ) success. What makes WARRANT different is that while countless bands have come and gone, this one has continued to play, record and work hard to entertain live audiences to this very day; this ethic still translates into sellout crowds. They have weathered the trends, and have come through the years a viable strong contender in the American and worldwide musical landscape.
Whoever the audience (which transcends the traditional “80's/90's rock fans from back in the day” to include a much younger audience as well), the band remains 5 very determined ROCKAHOLICS, happy and ready to rock every night.
As live show fans still sing along with songs from the early years such as “Heaven”, “Down Boys”, “Sometimes She Cries”, “I Saw Red”, “Cherry Pie” and “Uncle Tom's Cabin”, the band has recently completed a new 14 song CD entitled ROCKAHOLIC, released May 17, 2011, on Frontiers Records. The culmination of their combined efforts has been highly regarded and reviewed- the band can't wait to play not only all the hits fans know by heart, but also new tunes, such as the single “ Life's A Song”, “Home”, and “Sex Ain't Love” from the new CD, which have already gotten the crowd cheering and singing along!
